This site is meant as a celebration. It is not about titles, ribbons, awards nor fortune nor fame of any kind. Instead, it is about the love of a breed and the joy of those individuals who have shared and enriched my life at TEEWINOT – both past and present. This is my gift to them.

TEEWINOT Ranch

TEEWINOT is the original Shoshone name for the Tetons, the majestic mountain range that stands guard over the Jackson Hole area of northwestern Wyoming.  I pronounce it as TEE-WIN-OH although there is some confusion over its original pronunciation and how it may have been translated by the later French trappers.

TEEWINOT is my ASCA registerd kennel name and has been for twenty years. But, it is not just my kennel name – it is also my home – and a state of mind.
